Though I will provide advice to tenants in residential and commercial lease matters, I focus my practice on the rights of property owners and landlords. In all landlord-tenant disputes, I strive to provide quick, efficient and cost-effective service and to be responsive to your needs. I protect the rights of landlords in a variety of legal matters, including:

• Negotiation, review and preparation of leases. I will act as your advocate throughout the process, advising you of your rights, helping you get the terms that best protect your interests, reviewing any proposed lease terms, and overseeing the preparation and execution of the final lease agreement.
• All actions involved in tenant evictions. I will prepare and file all documents that must be submitted through the courts and will make certain that you provide all notices and other documents to tenants, as required by law. I can help you with claims involving non-payment of rents, destruction of property, or a non-conforming or illegal use of the premises.
• Defense of mechanics liens caused by the actions of tenants. When tenants have construction or repairs done to the leasehold and fail to pay, I will defend you in any actions against you based on mechanics liens.
• Defense of allegations by tenants, such as breach of warranty of habitability or violation of housing code. If a tenant has refused to pay rent, claiming that the property is not in compliance with housing codes or is otherwise not habitable, I will take legal action to protect your interests.
