My Criminal Defense Practice
I handle the defense of a wide range of felony and misdemeanor prosecutions of people in Denver and the surrounding communities, including domestic violence charges and DUIs. I also provide counsel to individuals who want to seal an arrest or conviction record.
When you hire me to defend you on a DUI/DWAI (driving while ability impaired) charge, I will thoroughly investigate the facts surrounding your arrest, looking for evidence to help me seek the reduction or dismissal of charges against you. I will examine the traffic stop to verify that the police had probable cause to pull you over and that you were properly advised of your rights before you made any statements. I will also look at field sobriety and blood alcohol tests to see if they were correctly administered. I will seek the exclusion of evidence and/or the dismissal of charges if your rights were violated.
I handle all aspects of a DUI charge, from the administrative proceeding regarding the suspension or revocation of your license to the criminal proceeding to determine penalties.
